The Adjutant General, Arizona
Major General Hugo E. Salazar assumed the duties as The Adjutant General, Arizona National Guard on 16 December 2008 and concurrently served as the Director of the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs. This assignment follows two years as the Assistant Adjutant General and full-time director of the Arizona Army National Guard.
General Salazar received his commission from the Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Georgia in 1983.
