General Officer Biography

MAJOR GENERAL DAN M. COLGLAZIER

 

DEPUTY COMMANDING GENERAL - RESERVE COMPONENTS, FIRST UNITED STATES ARMY

Major General Colglazier assumed the duties as Deputy Commanding General - Reserve Components (DCO-RC), First United States Army in Fort Gillem, Georgia on 1 July 2004. As the DSG-RC, he assists in enhancing the combat readiness of Reserve Component soldiers within the First Army area of responsibility.

General Colglazier began his career as an enlisted soldier in the United States Marine Corps on August 13, 1968. He went on to be commissioned while in the Marines as a Second Lieutenant on December 22, 1969.
