BRIGADIER GENERAL JAMES M. McCORMACK

 

Assistant Adjutant General, Oklahoma Air National Guard

Brigadier General James M. McCormack is the Assistant Adjutant General for Air, Oklahoma Air National Guard. He is directly responsible to the Adjutant General of Oklahoma for the supervision and continuity of all units of the Oklahoma Air National Guard.

General McCormack was commissioned through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas in June 1974. He has been a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard since October 1976. General McCormack has served the Oklahoma Air National Guard since that time as a copilot, aircraft commander, instructor pilot, flight examiner, chief of standardization and evaluation, squadron operations officer, squadron commander, operations group commander, air wing vice commander and air wing commander. He has also served as a deployed expeditionary operations group commander.
