MAJOR GENERAL WILLIAM M. MALOAN

 

Assistant Adjutant General - Army, Tennessee National Guard

Major General William M. Maloan is the Assistant Adjutant General - Army, Tennessee National Guard. He is responsible for the training and supervision of the more than 10,600 Soldiers in the Tennessee Army National Guard. In this capacity, he commands the Tennessee Army National Guard, and is responsible for readiness and effectiveness in training, administration, and logistics for both State and Federal missions. He directs, supervises and coordinates the Headquarters Tennessee Army National Guard staff and Army Guard units.

General Maloan received a direct commission in 1988 in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. Prior to receiving his commission, he served as an enlisted member of the 164th Support Squadron, Tennessee Air National Guard.
