BRIGADIER GENERAL RONALD W. HUFF

 

Director, Joint Staff, South Carolina National Guard

Brigadier General Ronald W. Huff assumed his duties as the Director, Joint Staff, South Carolina National Guard on 1 September 2008. He also serves as the Commander, 59th Troop Command, South Carolina Army National Guard. As the Director, Joint Staff, General Huff supervises all Directorates and Major Subordinate Command Administrative Officers within the South Carolina National Guard and acts as their official channel of communication with the Deputy Adjutant General and Adjutant General.

General Huff enlisted in 1971. He earned his commission in 1978 through the Palmetto Military Academy. General Huff has an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology from Midlands Technical College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Studies from Liberty University. He also holds a Master of Strategic Studies Degree from the United States Army War College.
