MAJOR GENERAL GERALD P. MINETTI

 

Director, Coalition Coordination

Major General Gerald P. Minetti assumed duties as the Director, Coalition Coordination at Central Command, MacDill AFB, FL on August 15, 2005. In this role, he supports the strategic objectives of the Commander, United States Central Command coordinating the identification, development, and movement of Coalition resources necessary to satisfy force capability requirements within the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). Prior to this assignment, he served as the Deputy Chief of Staff - Resources and Sustainment, MNF-I, Baghdad, Iraq. In this role he directed the logistics, personnel, surgeon, chaplain, and Resource Management Division in support of MNF-I.

Prior to this assignment, General Minetti was the Deputy Director for Logistics Operations, J4, the Joint Staff. As Deputy Director for Logistics Operations, he assisted the Director for Logistics (J4) in developing policy to maximize the logistic capabilities of the unified and specified commands to include strategic mobility, force sustainment, logistics information fusion, mobilization and integration of reserve forces. Immediately before this tour, General Minetti was on Active Duty (Title 10, Chairman's Ten) as the Deputy Director of Logistics and Engineering, United States Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, FL and United States Central Command (Fwd), Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar. In that capacity, General Minetti was responsible for coordinating logistical and engineering efforts in support the CENTCOM area of operations and specifically, in support of Operations ENDURING and IRAQI FREEDOM (OEF/OIF).
