Assistant Division Commander- Maneuver, 36th Infantry DivisionBrigadier General Bisson assumed the duties as the Assistant Division Commander for Maneuver (ADC-M), 36th Infantry Division, Austin, Texas, in May 2004. As the Assistant Division Commander, he is responsible for assisting in the command, control and supervision of the 36th Infantry Division, and specifically the Division's three maneuver brigades and its Aviation Brigade.
Brigadier General Bisson began his military service when he was drafted in February 1967. He served as an infantryman with the 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam from July 1967-July 1968. He entered the Texas Army National Guard in February 1971 and was direct commissioned as a Second Lieutenant, Armor, in November 1971.
