BRIGADIER GENERAL STEVEN L. ADAMS

 

Assistant Adjutant General - Air, Nebraska National Guard

Brigadier General Steven L. Adams is Assistant Adjutant General-Air, Nebraska National Guard. He also serves as Commander, Nebraska Air National Guard and is responsible for the organization, training, and equipping of subordinate units. General Adams is the primary advisor to the Adjutant General on a broad range of matters concerning the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard such as formulating long-range plans and programs.

General Adams was commissioned in 1977 at the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science, McGhee-Tyson Air National Guard Base, Tennessee. Prior to receiving his commission, General Adams served as an enlisted member of the United States Air Force.

Prior to his current assignment, General Adams served as the Commander of the 155th Air Refueling Wing, Lincoln, Nebraska. General Adams is a Command Pilot with over 2,500 flight hours.
