BRIGADIER GENERAL MANDI A. MURRAY

Commander, 46th Military Police Command

Brigadier General Mandi A. Murray served as Commander, 46th Military Police Command, Michigan Army National Guard in January 2010. She was responsible for all activities in the command to include facilitating strategic objectives and policies to ensure effective and efficient accomplishment of command missions. Additionally, she enhanced the development of the command into a cohesive, effective, combat ready unit, capable of being deployed on short notice. General Murray was responsible for training, administration, supply, maintenance, transportation and security of the organization and for maintaining command strength at a high level through recruiting and retention.

General Murray began her military career when she enlisted in the Michigan Army National Guard in 1981. She received a commission as a Second Lieutenant from Northern Michigan University through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1984. Prior to her current assignment, General Murray served as a Maintenance Platoon Leader, Auditing Officer, Disbursing Officer, Personnel Service Company Executive Officer and Commander, Battalion S1, Personnel Service Battalion Commander, State Headquarters Human Resource/Equal Opportunity Officer and Troop Command Brigade Commander. Prior to this assignment, General Murray served as Deputy Commander, 46th Military Police Command.
