Adjutant General - Army, Iowa National Guard
Brigadier General Stephen E. Bogle assumed duties as Assistant Adjutant General - Army, Iowa National Guard, Camp Dodge, Johnston, Iowa on 27 April 2010. He is responsible for directing activities of all units of the Iowa Army National Guard and is the principal advisor to the Adjutant General on all Army issues.
General Bogle's active military service began in 1975 when he enlisted in the
Iowa Army National Guard. He attended the Iowa Military Academy, Officer
Candidate School and was commissioned in 1984 and qualified in Aviation and
Medical Services Corps. He has commanded at the company, battalion, brigade, and
joint task force levels. Prior to this assignment General Bogle served as Chief,
Joint Staff, Iowa Joint Force Headquarters, and most recently as the Director,
Joint of Staff, Iowa Joint Force Headquarters.
