Major General Thomas R. Moore is Assistant Adjutant General - Air, Georgia National Guard, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia. His duties and responsibilities include direct supervision of the Georgia State Air Guard staff, and command of 2,844 Georgia Air Guard members serving in two flying wings, seven geographically separated units and a Combat Readiness Training Center.
General Moore was commissioned in 1981 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of South Carolina. He has commanded at the squadron, group and wing levels, and twice served as Commander, 416th Air Expeditionary Group, Karshi-Khanabad Air Base, Uzbekistan. General Moore is a master navigator with more than 3,500 flying hours in the T-37, KC-135A/R, B-1B, C-130H, and E-8C.
