Brigadier General Mabry E. Martin assumed his duties as the Commander, Joint Task Force, North Carolina National Guard, Raleigh, North Carolina on 1 December 2006. In this capacity, he is responsible for the Joint task Force's joint training and deployment. General Martin is also dual-hatted as the Deputy Commanding General, Army National Guard, United States Army Maneuver Support Center, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri since 1 February 2008.
General Martin received his commission into the Regular Army in 1973 as a Distinguished Military Graduate through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Clemson University. His previous military assignments include Field Artillery Battery and Battalion Command, as well as various staff positions at all levels.
