BRIGADIER GENERAL J. STEWART GOODWIN

Brigadier General J. Stewart Goodwin is Assistant Adjutant General - Air, Indiana National Guard.

General Goodwin was commissioned in 1971 through the Reserve Officers Training Corps program at the University of Evansville. He has served in all three components of the Air Force: Active, Reserve, and National Guard involving both support and operational positions. Previous assignments include: State Director of Support, Executive Officer, State Director of Education and Training, Disaster Preparedness Officer, and Missile Combat Crew Commander. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Chief of Staff, Indiana Air National Guard.

Executive Director, Indiana War Memorials Commission, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Responsible for the operations and maintenance of 24 acres of property and buildings in downtown Indianapolis including a 29,000 square foot museum, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, the Indiana War Memorial, and the USS Indianapolis CA-35 Heavy Cruiser Monument.
