CIVILIAN OCCUPATION
Deputy Director, Citadel Department of Defense Cyber Institute – Charleston, South Carolina

Provide senior leadership in advancing the Department of Defense’s national mission to close the cyber workforce gap. Developing strategic partnerships across DoD agencies, federal and state governments, academia, and industry to produce the next generation of cyber  leaders. Shape program vision and policy implementation for the Senior Military College DoD Cyber Institutes Program, aligning student development initiatives with national security workforce requirements. Work with the Executive Director to expand internship pipelines with DoD agencies, integrating experiential learning into talent development strategies. Direct major initiatives, including K-12 and National Guard cyber education programs, to strengthen long-term capability and capacity. Former adjunct instructor for Principles and Practices of Cybersecurity; currently designing new academic programs in emerging technologies to advance The Citadel’s role in national security education.
