General Officer Biography

BRIGADIER GENERAL ROQUE C. NIDO-LANAUSSE

 

Deputy Adjutant General, Puerto Rico Army National Guard

Brigadier General Roque C. Nido-Lanausse, Jr., assumed duties as the Deputy Adjutant General, Puerto Rico Army National Guard, San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 7, 2002. As the Deputy Adjutant General, he is the principal advisor to the Adjutant General assisting him in discharging his responsibilities in the areas of logistics, fiscal compliance, and personnel administration.

During his military career, Brigadier General Nido has occupied several key positions. Among these are the position of General Surgeon in the 201st Mobile Army Surgical Hospital, Chief of Surgical Services at the 201st Evacuation Hospital, Chief of Surgical Services on active duty with the 201st Evacuation Hospital during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Chief of Professional Services of the 201st Evacuation Hospital and Commander of the 201st Evacuation Hospital. He also occupied the Officer in Charge position at the Troop Medical Clinic, Camp Santiago Training Site, Salinas, Puerto Rico.
