Assistant Adjutant General for Space Colorado National Guard
Brigadier General Patrick M. O'Hara was assigned as the Assistant Adjutant General for Space Colorado National Guard 6 August 2005. General O'Hara provides General Officer leadership, current operations oversight and emerging mission capabilities and technologies advocacy for the Airmen and Soldiers of the CONG serving at NORTHCOM, in the Ground-Based Mid-Course Defense Brigade and the Space Support Battalion. He is responsible for implementing changes to management initiatives in accordance with the CONG Strategic Change Management Plan to insure readiness, future relevance and a fully modernized and compatible force. General O'Hara wears a ‘dual hat' as the Assistant Division Commander 91st Training Support Division at Camp Parks CA. In this position, he provides General Officer leadership to the Division's operations staff and to three Training Support Brigades executing TS XXI pre-mobilization and post-mobilization Training Support to over 60,000 soldiers in ARNG and USAR formations.
Brigadier General O'Hara earned a Regular Army commission as a Field Artillery Officer after graduating from the United States Military Academy in 1970. He was assigned to numerous officer positions to include Colorado Army National Guard Ground Forces Commander, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans, and Commander for the 169th Field Artillery Brigade.
