Major General Bruce Davis assumed duties as the Commander of Joint Task Force Civil Support (JTF-CS) in November 2004. JTF-CS is the Department of Defense executive agent assigned to US Northern Command to plan and integrate the Department of Defense (DoD) response to the Lead Federal Agency for domestic consequence management operations during chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive incidents.

The General's military career began in 1976 upon enlistment in the National Guard. He was commissioned an infantry officer following Officer Candidate School. Prior to his current assignment, General Davis served as the Deputy Director of Operations, Readiness, and Mobilization, Headquarters, Department of the Army G-3, Pentagon, Washington, DC
