BRIGADIER GENERAL BRUCE R. BODIN

 

Deputy Director of Operations, J-3 (Military Assistance to Civil Authorities (MACA) and Land Domain), United States Northern Command

Brigadier General Bruce R. Bodin is currently serving as Deputy Director of Operations, J-3 (Military Assistance to Civil Authorities (MACA) and Land Domain), United States Northern
Command. Prior to his current assignment, General Bodin served as Assistant Adjutant General laos serving as Commander of the Joint Task Force, Joint Force Headquarters Arizona National Guard, Phoenix, Arizona.

Upon graduation from the United States Army Rotary Wing Flight School in 1970, he transitioned to the Cobra Attack Helicopter at Ft. Stewart, Georgia, en-route to Vietnam, where he was assigned as an Attack Helicopter Pilot in the First Cavalry Division. After a one-year tour of duty in Vietnam and a Cobra flying assignment in the First Cavalry Division, Ft. Hood, Texas he was released from active duty and joined the Minnesota Army National Guard where he served in various aviation command and staff positions until 1986 when he accepted the position of Aviation Support Facility Commander in the Arizona Army National Guard. In the Arizona Army National Guard, he served in the key positions of State Aviation Officer, Commander, 385th Aviation Group, Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander, Arizona State Area Command.
