BRIGADIER GENERAL JOHN R. MULLIN


Assistant Adjutant General, Massachusetts

Brigadier General Mullin assumed duties as Assistant Adjutant General, Massachusetts. As the Assistant Adjutant General he is responsible for managing the academic, inspection and strategic planning activities for the Massachusetts Army National Guard. He commanded the 101st Engineer Battalion, the nation's oldest military Unit, and was selected as the first Guardsmen to serve on the Special Staff of the Chief of Staff of the Army and is a graduate of the Army War College.

In civilian life, BG Mullin is the Vice Chancellor for Academic Outreach at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is also President of Mullin Associates Incorporated, a planning consulting firm. BG Mullin is a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners and is a Fulbright Scholar.
