MAJOR GENERAL STEPHEN D. COLLINS

 

Deputy Commanding General, Army National Guard, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command

Major General Stephen D. Collins assumed the duties as the Deputy Commanding General, Army National Guard, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command on April 1, 2004.

He is a career National Guardsman who has served at both the enlisted and officer levels. General Collins' accomplishments range from being the distinguished graduate at Officer Candidate School to Commanding troop units for more than ten years. His staff assignments include Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Human Resources Officer, Assistant State Maintenance Officer, Plans Officer, State Recruiting and Retention Officer and State Security Officer. General Collins has served on numerous national panels including the Plans, Operations, Readiness and Training Council and the Special Forces Advisory Council.
