BRIGADIER GENERAL DAVID S. ANGLE

Assistant Adjutant General, Oklahoma Air National Guard

Brigadier General David S. Angle is the Assistant Adjutant General for Air, Oklahoma Air National Guard. He is directly responsible to the Adjutant General of Oklahoma for the supervision and continuity of all units of the Oklahoma Air National Guard. General Angle enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1968 and served 2 years overseas and finished his last 2 years of Active Duty at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma. He then served with the Missouri Air National Guard from 1974 to 1984. In March 1982, Master Sergeant Angle was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and was assigned as Officer in Charge of Customer Support Branch for 139th Resource Management Squadron. General Angle transferred to the Oklahoma Air National Guard in September 1984 and served with the 138th Fighter Wing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has the unique distinction of being assigned as the vice wing commander at both 138th Fighter Wing and 137th Airlift Wing before being assigned as the assistant adjutant general for Air, Oklahoma Air National Guard.
