BRIGADIER GENERAL EDWARD H. GREENE II

 

Brigadier General Edward H. Greene II is the assistant adjutant general for air, Headquarters, Neb. Air National Guard in Lincoln, Neb. He is responsible for assisting the adjutant general in commanding and directing the 850 members of the Neb. Air National Guard. The general began his military career on May 2, 1966, when he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Md. Air National Guard. While serving as chief of command post with the 155th Tactical Reconnaissance Group, he also served as the Air National Guard team chief for all NATO command post exercises in Turkey from 1986-1991. Although a practicing dentist in the community, General Greene did not enter the Medical Corps until his assignment as the commander of the 155th Medical Squadron in 1992. During his command the unit was awarded the prestigious 'Marrs Award' for the most outstanding medical squadron in the Air National Guard.
