BRIGADIER GENERAL FRANK D. REZAC

 

fdr.jpg (4558 bytes)Brigadier General Frank D. Rezac is assistant adjutant general for Air and also serves as the commander of the Illinois Air National Guard. He is responsible for the command, control and operations of plans and programs affecting over 3,400 Illinois Air National Guard personnel located at locations near Belleville, Peoria and Springfield. His broad range of responsibilities include insuring combat readiness and mission capability of three major flying units and five mission support units. General Rezac also supervises a full-time force of over 900 federal and state employees.

General Rezac enlisted in the Illinois Air National Guard in May, 1967. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in February, 1968 and subsequently attended undergraduate pilot training with the United States Air Force. Brigadier General Rezac is a command pilot with over 4,900 hours in a variety of military aircraft.
