National Guard aviators battle devastating wildfires in Hawaii

Two Hawaii Army National Guard CH-47 Chinook helicopters were deployed Aug. 9, 2023, to help battle wildfires that have devastated the island of Maui. The air crews performed 58 total bucket drops in 5 hours totaling more than 100,000 gallons dropped on the fires. (U.S. National Guard Video by Air Force Master Sgt.
