MAJOR GENERAL MICHAEL H. TICE

Major General Michael H. Tice is the Reserve Component assistant to the Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Command (USCINCPAC). As such he serves as the principal advisor to USCINCPAC on all reserve forces mobilization matters. 

He began his military career as an enlisted airman prior to receiving a direct commission through the Air National Guard in 1967.  Upon completion of undergraduate pilot training at Williams Air Force Base, Ariz., and subsequent qualification as an F-102 interceptor pilot at Perrin Air Force Base, Texas, he returned to Hawaii as a traditional guardsman for the 154th Fighter Interceptor Group.  General Tice held a variety of military assignments within the 154th Wing before assuming the position of commander in 1989.
