BRIGADIER GENERAL STEPHAN A. PAPPAS

Brigadier General Stephan A. Pappas is the Assistant Adjutant General, Wyoming Air National Guard. He is responsible for the formulation, development, and coordination of policies plans and programs affecting more than 1200 members of the Wyoming Air National Guard. He is also tasked with ensuring the Wyoming Air National Guard's ability to respond to peacetime contingencies, while maintaining readiness to accomplish their wartime missions.

General Pappas was commissioned in 1985 through the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science in Knoxville, Tennessee. Upon graduation General Pappas worked as a Civil Engineer Staff Officer in the Wyoming Air National Guard until 1991 when he became the Civil Engineering Logistics Officer. In 1995 he became the Civil Engineering Operations officer and in 1998 became the 153d Airlift Wing Civil Engineering Commander.
