BRIGADIER GENERAL NORMAN E. ARFLACK

Brigadier General Norman E. Arflack assumed duties as Assistant Adjutant General, Kentucky Army National Guard on February 2, 2003. As Assistant Adjutant General, he serves as second in command of the Kentucky Army National Guard and primary advisor to the Adjutant General. He is responsible for Kentucky's Joint Force Headquarters planning and execution of contingency operations for state and national emergencies, under both state and federal active service. He is responsible for balancing the requirements of readiness, modernization, force structure, and sustainment to further the effectiveness of the National Guard for mobilization and domestic missions. He acts as the chief trainer for the Joint Force Headquarters and ensures its operational readiness. Brigadier General Arflack represents the Adjutant General as required.
