CARSON CITY - About 600 Soldiers in the Nevada Army Guard’s 1st Squadron/221st Cavalry are on official notice to prepare for a spring 2009 deployment to Afghanistan. The Soldiers will provide security for a provincial reconstruction team that is rebuilding the country and will also conduct combat and infantry missions in Laghman Province to ensure civil order in the region
