Opa-locka, Florida - Florida National Guard members prepare for potential hurricane response missions in Opa-Locka, Florida, as outer winds from Hurricane Dorian hit the Florida coast, Sept. 2, 2019. Approximately 5,500 Guard members stand ready to respond in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas as Dorian, now a Category 2 storm roughly 100 miles off the coast of Florida, slowly moves northward after pummeling the Bahamas as a Category 5 storm.
