Colorado Guard mountain training reaches new heights

Colorado Springs, CO - Staff Sgt. Sean Goodman works with a rope system during the Advanced Military Mountaineering Course on Fort Carson, Colo., Oct. 5, 2017. The AMMC mobile training team was brought to Colorado for the first time as part of the High-Altitude Mountain Training Initiative, a new strategy to increase the number of military mountaineers and heighten the unit's readiness.
