The two were assigned to  Detachment 2, Company A, of the 1st Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment, operating as part of Joint Task Force North, supporting Customs and Border Protection operations on the southwest border.

The Michigan National Guard and Michigan Department of Natural Resources will work together again to improve state park facilities beginning in spring 2024.
