158th Fighter Wing Airmen Demonstrate ACE in Estonia

Airmen assigned to the Vermont Air National Guard’s 158th Fighter Wing hold a Green Mountain Battle flag in front of their U.S. Air Force F-35A Lighting II after successfully completing an Agile Combat Employment exercise to support the NATO air shielding mission at Amari Air Base, Estonia, July 15, 2022. Barnestormers complete joint aircraft recovery training

Air National Guard F-35 LO shop established in Vermont

Members assigned to the 158th Maintenance Group low observable shop in their new building at the Vermont Air National Guard base, South Burlington, Vt., Sept. 23, 2020. As the first Air National Guard unit to base the F-35A Lightning II, the 158th Fighter Wing is now also home of the first F-35 low observable (LO) shop in the Air National Guard.

Green Mountain Boys reach F-35 milestone: 500 sorties

Airman 1st Class Isabel Murphy, a crew chief assigned to the Maintenance Group at the 158th Fighter Wing, launches an F-35 Lightning II at the Vermont Air National Guard Base, South Burlington, Vt., May 6, 2020. Maj. Michael Cady, chief of weapons and tactics for the 134th Fighter Squadron, Vermont Air National Guard, was piloting this F-35 Lightning II, Tail 5278, which achieved the 500th sortie for the Green Mountain Boys.
