Waldon and Corbett followed in their father's  footsteps -- retired Army Staff Sgt. Garry Waldon Sr. -- by serving in the Iowa  Army National Guard. TF Archer and TF Redhorse belong to the 34th Infantry  Division’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team.
