What is "Vigilant Guard"?

Maryland National Guard Pfc. Exercise Alaska VG 10 is a full scale, statewide exercise sponsored by the state of Alaska and designed to ensure effective coordination between local, state, private sector, non-governmental organizations and federal partners. Alaska VG10 will focus on the response to a disruption of the delivery of supplies and services following a seismic event in the Anchorage area.

Alaska VG 10 will execute from 26 April through 03 May 10.
